Đây là câu hỏi thảo luận (speaking), không có đáp án đúng/sai duy nhất. Dưới đây là bài nói mẫu theo đúng chủ đề *A world of festivals* (Unit 2 – lớp 12, Kết nối tri thức):
a) Some other festivals from around the world celebrated in Viet Nam (Một số lễ hội thế giới được tổ chức ở Việt Nam):
- Christmas (Lễ Giáng sinh) – celebrated on 24th–25th December. People decorate Christmas trees, exchange gifts and send greeting cards. Streets, churches and shopping centres are brightly decorated with lights.
- Halloween – held on 31st October. Young people wear scary costumes, decorate their houses with pumpkins, and join costume parties.
- New Year's Eve / Western New Year (Tết Dương lịch) – celebrated on 31st December–1st January with countdown parties, fireworks and music shows in big cities.
- Valentine's Day (Lễ Tình nhân) – on 14th February, couples give each other flowers, chocolates and gifts.
- (Other examples: *Mid-Autumn-style events, Oktoberfest-themed parties, Thanksgiving dinners* at international schools and restaurants.)
b) Why they are popular (Vì sao chúng được ưa chuộng):
- They are fun and exciting, giving people – especially young people – a chance to relax, dress up and celebrate with friends.
- They are promoted through globalisation, the media, films and social networks, so many Vietnamese become familiar with them.
- Shops, restaurants and tourism companies take advantage of these festivals to decorate, run sales and attract customers, which makes the festivals more visible.
- They help people learn about and appreciate different cultures, reflecting Viet Nam's integration with the world.
Sample answer (bài nói hoàn chỉnh):
*"Besides traditional Vietnamese festivals, several festivals from around the world are also celebrated in Viet Nam, such as Christmas, Halloween, Western New Year and Valentine's Day. I think they are popular for a few reasons. First, they are really fun and give young people a chance to have parties and enjoy themselves. Second, thanks to globalisation and social media, Vietnamese people, especially teenagers, get to know these festivals easily. Finally, shops and tourism companies often use these occasions to decorate and offer discounts, which makes them even more well-known. Overall, these festivals show that Viet Nam is opening up to different cultures around the world."*
